Leo Wilkin

I’m a UK-based student passionate about the intersection of technology, policy, and social impact.

I specialise in fintech operations, event operations, online safety advocacy, and exploring AI public policy and governance.

I’m currently the Director of Operations at Hack Club’s YSWS and Events programs, creating a community of the next generation of STEM thinkers with partners like NASA, AMD, and GitHub. I’ve worked on KYC systems impacting 30,000+ teens globally.

As a former member of the NSPCC’s Online Safety Advisory National Council, I’ve collaborated with Government bodies and industry leaders to shape policies that aim to protect children in digital spaces. This role combined my technical understanding in frontier technologies with policy expertise to create meaningful safeguards for young people online.
